Kiyonari, Italian WSBK Race 2 2008

Ryuichi Kiyonari produced a stunning second race display at Monza on Sunday, the WSBK rookie holding the lead with one corner to go - only to be relegated to third at the flag, a mere 0.051secs from victory.

"It has been a weekend to forget for most of us, which casts a small shadow over the Kiyonari's first podium," admitted team manager Ronald ten Kate. "It was good to see him adapting so well to the new track and fight for victory."
