Alto Evolution have undergone their second rider change of the season after revealing that Jason Pridmore has been ruled out with an ongoing arm injury.

Pridmore made his debut for the team back at the Miller Motorsports Park round to replace the inexperienced Luca Morelli. However, he has found it difficult to shine on the world stage with a best result of 18th coming in ten races.

Nonetheless, it is likely he will sit out the remainder of the season after doctors advised him not to ride again until he has recovered from a compartment syndrome of the left forearm, a problem that has afflicted him for much of the season.

“The entire Team is truly sad about it; we were happy and motivated with his improvements and looking positively towards this race.”

In the meantime, Pridmore will be replaced by fellow American Matt Lynn, who crosses over from racing in the AMA Superbike Championship. The 23-year-old is in his fifth season of Superbikes and is currently classified 13th in the overall standings.

“Replacing Jason, we decided for the young AMA Superbike rider Matt Lynn, who we expect to perform a good latter part of the season with us.

“Matt was officially presented for the Team and the Championship Organization today and he is very excited about debuting on the World Superbike Championship with Alto Evolution.”
