Having lost his Castrol Honda seat to ex-MotoGP star Tadayuki Okada, Aaron Slight could yet return to this years WSB grid…

With rumours of a possible move to car racing rife in recent months, Slight could still stay in WSB's after receiving offers from the Remus Ducati and Mondial teams for this season.

The main sticking points appear to be the Kiwi's wage demands and the judged level of competitiveness that he could achieve with such teams, having made clear he has no intention of becoming an ‘also ran.'

Slight's WSB career dates back to 1989 when he made his debut on a Kawasaki, he bravely recovered from brain surgery last year and went on to finish eighth in the championship, which was won by his Texan teammate Colin Edwards.
