Valencia 2006: Jorg back in hunt after win.

The World Touring Car Championship standings have yet another new look to it after Jorg Muller's win in the second race of the day at Valencia was enough to put him up into second place on leader board, while Augusto Farfus' fifth enough to move him into a surprise top spot with only two races at Macau to go.

With the underdogs rising to the fore, just seven points cover the top six drivers, with Farfus now one point ahead of Jorg and Priaulx, while Tarquini, Rydell and Dirk Muller are well in the hunt three, six and seven points off respectively.

However, with twenty points still available, in theory the top nine drivers down to Terting can still take the title at Macau and if there was ever a more tantilising venue for a classic showdown then this would surely be it.

With walls that bite and an unforgiving layout that benefits experience over exuberance, there is still no clear favourite for the title, even if it must be pointed out that it is a BMW stronghold, with Jorg Muller, Dirk Muller, Priaulx and Farfus all previous winners. Either way, it promises to be a race to watch...
