James Thompson: Righting the wrongs.

I think Valencia is going to be a turning point for us in the season so I’m very up-beat. I know the circuit for a start and I think we’ve got a good idea of where we need to be with the car.

While I know the circuit in Spain, my memories of it are pretty rubbish! I’ve never had a good race weekend at Valencia, and last year I lost the chance to win the championship. My engine blew up in the warm up which lost me seventh place on the grid for race one. It was invaluable at the time because all my rivals were back in 15th and 16th. In the second race I got punted off by Zanardi twice, which I’m still not particularly happy about…

The year before with Alfa Romeo I had all sorts of dramas so we’re going to put the wrongs right and have a great weekend!
