Preview – Spa-Francorchamps 2005.

Following its inaugural trip to Central America, so as to redeem its new global status, the FIA World Touring Car Championship resumes usual order this week with the series returning to Europe and Belgium for rounds eleven and twelve at the legendary Spa-Francochamps circuit.

In all 29 cars are expected to take part in Belgium and with the series now past the half-way point, there is still no clear indicator as to who will win the inaugural World Touring Car title. Coupled to the sheer diversity of the grid, as well as the magical location of the circuit, the bumper crowd are almost guaranteed some world class tin-top racing at the weekend.
