The FIA Touring Car bureau has announced that a 30 minute private test session will be held at six World Touring Car Championship meetings this season.

The sessions will be held in Brazil, Mexico, Japan and Macau to allow teams to check their cars after being transported to circuits outside Europe, while a test will also be held in Valencia to allow teams to check the cars after the opening two fly-away events of the year.

The final test will come in Portugal, with the Estorial circuit being new to the WTCC calendar.
