Having missed the opening round of the World Touring Car Championship in Brazil, N.Technology has confirmed that it will also sit out the second round of the season in Mexico.
The team, which switches from the Alfa Romeo 156 to the Honda Accord Euro R for 2008, was forced to miss the trip to Curitiba due to the late nature of the deal to run the JAS Motorsport developed machine but will now also not go to Puebla to make sure the car is fully race ready for its debut.
"We are working very hard towards being competitive and reliable for our first race weekend," team principal Mauro Sipsz said. "And we will have the first indication on exactly how competitive we are during next month's testing session.
"This racing programme was only defined at the beginning of the season and we have to take the time necessary to prepare the car. We hope that our efforts will be awarded in Valencia."
The team will take part in next months official two-day test at Valencia with driver James Thompson before making its debut with the Accord at the same circuit in the first round of the European leg of the campaign.
