Poulsen Motorsport has revealed its driver line-up for the 2008 Danish Touring Car Championship and signalled its intention to move into the WTCC for 2009.

The team will run four cars in the DTCC this season, with team owner Kristian Poulsen joined by Michel Nykjær, Jesper Sylvest and Emmet O'Brien – who raced for the team in the ETCC last season at Adria.

The team will also contest a limited programme in the WTCC this season, with the current plan being for Poulsen, Nykjær and O'Brien to then move into the World Championship in a three-car team next year.

"This year we will be taking part with four BMW's in the DTC series as well as the ETCC race, and in three of this year's WTCC round we will also be taking part with two cars," Poulsen said. "It is our plan that we will take part in the full WTCC series with three cars in 2009.

"We have chosen to announce our plan for the two coming years, so that our name will be at the top of the list at potential partners nationally as well as internationally. Plans might go wrong or can be changed in the process, but without plans you are going nowhere."
