Ellison was fastest lap after lap during the fast bit of the session and was then headed by Parkes for a couple of laps - he didn't get a chance to respond because it rained again.

My only worry last season about Sam was that he might bin it a bit too often, but he proved me wrong. Hopefully this season he'll not push too much at the couple of circuits he's not ridden and at the very least be hitting the podium on most races.

Wouldn't mind seeing Chaz produce the goods too - this season could be more than the two-horse race that the previous couple of seasons have been.
