This reads like an English translation of an Italian press release.

I'd guess that Chaz has been advised not to speal directly to the press lest he is rather pointed in what he says about the tyre 'situation' he found himself in....

Don't think it's a question of homework, more a question of logistics. As I understand it, Pirelli tries to avoid the transportation costs of shipping tyres back and forth from Australia. The tyres are kept for year after year in metal containers, which heat up and cool down many times, causing deterioration in the compound. You see the pics of those tyres that went flat? I hear that several others had blisters, too, which would've gone over the next few laps...

So annoying that the tyre went flat on him..
Almost as annoying as hearing Jack Burnicle mispronounce his name as Daveeeeeeees every time! Davies is pronounced like Davis, Whitham has tried to tell him..

oh that and his mispronouncing Aussie too!
