Ellison is to me what Colin Edwards is to others!

I know there are younger and faster guys coming through, but I really want him to do well.
Based on Sundays race WSS will be close this year, and he did benefit from some others misfortune to get his sixth.

If James can get podiums this year I think it'll mean an awful lot.
Best of luck, fella!

I want him to do well too, problem is, there's alot of guys I want to do well in WSS!

Either way it looks to be a great season, hope to see Ellison at the front with all my other favorites.

James Ellison could be deemed the King of excuses. His motogp effort - the chassis. GSE - his engineer and/or bike set-up. AMA - the bikes. 1st effort at WSS - the bikes (and team). Hydrex - blah blah blah. Read the interview in Superbike magazine around the time of his (I admit unfortunate leg break at Thruxton) and you just think, hang on, perhaps it's you? Still at least he's got a 'banker' of an excuse in early this year - my injury. I really want to like him and for him to do well, but f**k that interview was a procession of blame against others.

Well said Cristiano

Everyone felt he should simply have had the leg amputated at the time, dipped in hot tar and got back on the bike and won.
Clearly the man's a wuss and full of excuses.
'I can't actually stand up'.
Ha! Lame or what?

Lets see now ? Ellison in Motogp......raced on test tyres (non GP tyres) for Dunlop for two years.
Our new Brit on Gp tyres , Mr. Crutchlow is in 14th this week end. in testing about the same as Ellison.
Secondly Ellisons Knee injury this week end? He raced like all the Gutsy Brits last week end. Whilst Aussie Vermulen sat it out with his knee injury.
Lastly. How must all the other BSB riders that came
8th 9th 10th in the Championship, feel that Ellison won the Riders Cup for 7th when he had missed so many rounds through injury and two races being taken out by other riders and still manages to win the cup.

And what have you ever achieved then Cristiano De Grammini??.. It's easy to for you with your keyboard having a go.

Do you have any idea what level these guys are riding at?
6th is a strong finish without having your knee operated on days before!!!

Lets disect and analyse this a bit more/ Forgetting all the Brits that HAVE / ARE racing in Factory backed Teams in the past/present. . Ellison is one of the few ones that have Stood out more determined than anyone else in my opinion. You can congratulate many Brit riders for their successes, but it was all down to the Fact they were in a Factory Backed Teams. Now take that away and put them all on a level playing field and you will probably see Ellison, Lowes and Laverty and Rea being the top four.
There are riders in WSBK factory Teams that have never won a Championship. You have Ellison that has won many and never been given a WSBK Rider, I think Money must play a big part in this sport and not talent.
