For me the biggest problem for Ducati is it took them 6 days to get to where they are, the Yams and Hondas are a little slower than they were at the first test. I know the track will change quite a lot so while Ducati have gained a little time at this track every track is different and they won't have six days to find a set up they won't even have six hours and that is going to be their problem . The Yams and Hondas are fast straight fron the crate wheras the Duc take six days to get... well not even close. Its going to be a long season for the Ducati's unless they get some updates for the bike.

your analysis is correct but the bigger problem is back at the factory, they don't have the resources like Yamaha. n Honda. to produce parts overnight, and even if they did all the posturing n politics in there slows them down... they seem to over think and wait to long... where yam or Honda have a new parts on a test bike next day, not next month...

this is the real problem, n where Audi needs to strep in... they need the 'get it done now' mentality...

You are spot on there, BUT I think the main issue is that Ducati need a MASE setting. Once they find the parts that work and they get that base, setup for different tracks will be much easier. I think, currently, Ducati have NO CLUE where they are because they pumped out innumerable parts in the last two years to try fix one big problem. Where, as Dovi said, it's lots of LITTLE problems that need fixing. Lets hope they sort it...

Actually they were trying to fix a lot of little problems the last two seasons too. Cornering, braking, acceleration, weight distribution, front end feel, etc. It wasn't ONE big thing, it was A LOT of things.
