Even as a fan, I've gotta say, Alonso is going to be scratching for excuses this year if he doesn't win the championship. If the car's as good as he says it is, and if he's actually got the ability still, he pretty much has to win this year, especially considering that he and Ferrari are now three years into their much-hyped partnership.

So no excuses if you don't win the championship. If it is 200 times better than the car that you only lost by 3 points in. Every race should be a Ferrari 1-2.

I think LDM 'will' be expecting him to win this year if the car is 200 times better. It did take Schumacher five seasons to win the title, MS also won more races during his first three seasons (maybe less competitive championships)

This is more hot air from Alonso. We've seen it in the past. Psychological warfare. This time last year he played the "cars a piece of ****, but I'm a Japanese Samurai" bit. And then he took wins right at the start of the season. But it didn't work out in the end.
This year it looks like He's taking the "I've got the battleship Yamato, and Vettel a canoe" and "I'm ready to fight" approach. Fernando needs to do a little more inner thinking and concentration and attempt alot less psychological warfare. He should leave the Psycho war to guys like Whitmarsh and Luca. Thats their Forte.
