you cannot compare times like that nick, especially first year of 1000cc

his position is poor compared to the other yamahas.
he was out of his depth before he signed that contract.
tech 3 must be very loyal and stupid.

Why do people keep banging on about this kid? He's not goin to do anything all his career!! He's been on a moto gp bike same amount of time as Marquez and on a bike his team mate put in second place and he has put it last of the satellite bikes? He didn't do a lot in moto 2 but still people made a fuss? He just doesn't have it in him and is never going to be one of the greats.

I think Brad is being very measured, there is know point going out there trying to prove a point & throwing it down the road & injuring himself. 1.6 seconds on a nearly 2 minute lap is not too bad, he is a bit off Marquez but he has had a bit more testing time. Relax people he will get there, he was never been beaten by Simon (ex world champion) on the Tech 3 Moto 2 bike.

The reason people are mad at smith getting a ride is there were few others who deserved it more than him, and even if he does well in future, that does not change the fact that, right now there are more talented riders than him in moto2 and crt.
