Motorsports » F1 China 2013: I'd probably do same again, says Vettel

Sebastian Vettel: I think I'm the kind of guy that respects team decisions but on the other hand Mark is not the one that deserved it [the victory] at the time.

I think this is the statement he should have given from the beginning, I think it would have decreased the damages done to his popularity. You are a racer and you want to race, go for it. :)

Whatever Seb. You lost a lot more fans than you gained. Most who comment defending you just want to see you both race to the end. I do too. Lap times prior multi21 show that mark was holding u well under racing. You also heard the multi21 fine and slowed down just as mark did. Until your in and outlap where through amazing talent you closed 4 seconds on mark who was cruising. Before you disagree with this, check the lap times and gaps for the 10 laps prior to the pits. I have. It's not kindergarten. No one cares if u apologise. Mark will get u back and mark usually races well when he has something to prove. Keep telling everyone it was racing and you were being honest. Maybe you'll start to believe it too.

Definition of the word Race.....

1.
a contest of speed, as in running, riding, driving, or sailing.
2.
races, a series of races, usually of horses or dogs, run at a set time over a regular course: They spent a day at the races.
3.
any contest or competition, especially to achieve superiority.

..........................

Vettel beat Webber by 4 seconds in Sepang, so the faster driver won. Webber could have attacked back if he had the pace, but couldn't challenge. I think they should abolish team orders, it ruins races! Rosberg should have beaten Hamilton in Sepang too!

I hope to see a RACE on Sunday, anymore of this team orders & I'll stick to MotoGP,

At least we now know what will happen in future and it's up to Webber to back down or not, could well be very interesting with shades of Senna and Prost. I don't see that Webber has much to lose, nobody at Redbull seems to think much of him and it's almost certainly his last season with them, I know what I would do!
