... But Lorenzo also warns: "When you are 20 years old and a rookie you see things in a different way"

"Lorenzo, Marquez and Pedrosa will go head-to-head for home Spanish Grand Prix honours in round three at Jerez, from May 3-5"

- I think a certain Italian may figure in this battle for supremacy in Jerez! It would be even better if Cal could podium as well. Can't wait for the next round! :-)

@Falcon
WTF??? are you having a Giraffe mate!!

Wise words spoken by Jorge indeed, BUT the Electronics on these bikes get better and better and it was a LONG time ago he touched the moon with that China Highside, In someway's it is "safer" now for these but then they go faster so swings and roundabouts. Front Ends and MAYBE a big highside at tracks like Mugello/Estoril et al may beckon for him but he seems impervious to crashes at present..time will tell. I still think it is Dani Vs Jorge with cameos from MM and Rossi (and Cal?)

Not at all Falcon.
Lorenzo looked at the hill he had to climb and decided that to push hard enough to catch the Hondas was not worth the risk of possible injury.This shows maturity.A good rider knows when he is beaten and settles for points rather than lob it in the air fence and score nothing.Jerez is a Yamaha track.He will be more happy to push things there.

I like Vale for his youthful exuberance and hunger, even after all these years. Jorge for his raw ability. consistency and focus. Dani is prob the most well mannered in the paddock with hardly a complaint from him. He just gets up dust himself off & gets on with it. Marc seems like he's got a little bit of all of these traits, which could make him the perfect racer. Only time will tell.

Lorenzo is right, MM hasn't been bitten yet, but he probably will be at some point (that high side on cold tyres at Austin could so easily have been broken bones), so he hasn't the same wariness that the more experienced guys have. Putting it on the line the way he does, you have to think that a few more incidents are in line for Marc this year (though hopefully nothing serious).
