I can't help but compare Bradley Smith to Marc Marquez. Bradley Smith ,ok he's not doing great at the moment but the guy can ride a bike, and with a lot of practice I'm sure will get better at it .
Marc Marquez on the other hand is like a baby alien. He was born with a natural talent that other people don't have. He's been faster than the most experience riders from the moment he's jumped on the bike. You can't learn that, that's natural talent.

Bradley Smith will never win anything 'ever' in motogp. He is just not good enough. He maybe a nice chap and all that, but the hard fact is that he is nowhere near this class of talent.

Have said it before and will say it again. Plenty of other Moto2 riders that were more qualified for that seat. I hate to think he has a 2 year contract with Tech3. Have to wait until 2015 until a decent rider gets on that team. Toseland debacle all over again (a rider not worthy of a particular seat that holds onto it for far too long - or should've never gotten it in the first place)

Just a question..........

How did Bradley Smith get this ride? No championships, very few the guy hasn't really done anything to warrant this ride.

Seems like a waste of a seat really. They should have given it to Josh Hayes.

mandosgreat- I agree with you. I have said on this forum since day one that Bradley Smith is in way over his head and does not deserve this ride. Dovi should still be in that seat....

Hold on a minute, this is his third Motogp meeting, he had a weather interrupted pre season and he is 1,4 seconds off the WORLD CHAMPIONS time in FP2 and all you armchair warriors say he isn't worthy. Jeeesus people get a grip, what is it with the modern way of expecting instant success. I bet you were all writing Cal off 2 seasons ago too, and look what a stable and consistent team environment has done for him.

I hate too say this but I think bs in moto gp is going to end messy....well out of his league and may push too hard...i have also noticed the pro bradders are getting less race by race too.......

The reason why Smith is in Motogp is because is Dorna compensates teams that hire riders from certain countries and Tech 3 is the biggest example of this. It's not a coincidence that Tech 3 have over the past 5 years started to consistently hire british riders, even if better ones were available. Having said that Smith is a solid rider, and i expect him to improve to the point that he is good enough to stay in Motogp. And he needs to, because at the moment he really isn't impressive at all.
