Glad you weren't too badly battered.

I noticed the BBC were blathering about podiums. Why not get off his back (as I see it)? Must be difficult enough to do this 'job' without the feeling you are letting people down every time you don't get a podium.

He's a good rider, but he may or may not get a podium. That's how I see it - just leave it to what happens on the track.

I'll enjoy it a hell of a lot if it comes and will be rooting for him tomorrow.

Difficult conditions caught out a lot of riders today, it could have gone either way for Cal obviously pushing very hard to keep up with the factory riders!

Great effort

This guy is always on the edge of crashing. definitely one of the roughest riders on the track. he always looks like he is riding on the edge where as jorge and vale etc look like they are out for a sunday cruise. Cal will crash a lot, especially on tracks with no run off like in qatar.

@MichaelG

LOL..... I guess you don't watch much Motogp? If you did you may have noticed that they have already raced at Qatar! Oh, and just in case you are not sure what happened there, Cal finished 5th, without crashing! .......Or maybe you are looking to 2014?????

@dogfish, don't be so sensitive. He said tracks like Qatar, he didn't say that Cal did or would always crash at Qatar.

Cal crashes and runs off a lot. That's a fact. He did it a heck of a lot over the last two seasons and it's not as though he's been on a Ducati. The point that was being made is that he's going to end up in the gravel if there is no run-off (which is kind of obvious).

If he wasn't English, the place would be slagging him off. Instead, it's hyper-sensitive in his defence.
