DrWho, is that allegedly? Do you have proof? Do you have access to Dorna SL and all the teams submitted accounts?
Dorna made a loss 2 years ago and needed a cash injection, whilst the majority of the teams were said to be in profit.

Guana why drop Indy and Valencia?

RSMick Euhm the BTSports deal ( BBC didn't want to pay more money ), the prices to host a round, MotoGP.com stream we all suffer from the economic crisis but some things are only getting more expensive I paid 25 euro's to see the FP's you hardly can bring your own drinks. And at other venues ( Estoril ) they made entry free otherwise there weren't any spectators who could afford it. Do you think a family consisting of 2 parents and 2 kids can afford a visit to Silverstone? Prices are going through the roof and the only spectacle you'll see is in Moto3 or Moto3 and if you're "lucky" there's a lot of action at the parking lot. I know the entry fees are made by the organizing track but that depends what Dorn's is asking to host the round. Getting things cheaper could mean it's more accessible for people, more people = more money.
We all know Dorna is about dodgy rules and lots of talking promising things but in the end you paid too much

Personally,i think 18 rounds is enough. The more rounds you have, the more expense is involved and some of the smaller teams would possibly struggle with the extra financial burden.

BT paid 8m, hardly a major deal, they paid 758m for some premiership games and 120m for the Aviva Premiership. The BBC couldn't pay more, like the football.
Motogp.com stream cost me 85 for the year, I bought 4 roving tickets for GP and took food and drinks in, still bought more as Im greedy. Look at the prices for 3 days at Silverstone and compare it with 90 mins of a football match its very reasonable. As for Estoril the entry was 1 euro, only because they were bound by contract to put the race on so they thought get some in rather than none as they couldn't afford to promote it. As for the spectacle the whole day was one of the best I have seen.
So if Dorna charged less which they are not extortionate more would come? How come that did not work when IMS (FGS) were giving rounds for free and still the rounds were empty, SIlverstone and Donny example. Your logic does not make sense, if the circuits don't make money then how come more want to play host?
