Motorsports » Raikkonen rebounds back to his best in Singapore

After suffering from serious lower back pain in Saturday that contributed to a slump to 13th place in qualifying, Kimi Raikkonen needed to pull out something truly special on race day in Singapore.

That 'Back Pain' might have well been an excuse (for maybe not getting paid...). WSB, MotoGP racers have ridden with broken backs. Nonetheless Kimi's results are a welcome and badly needed one for Lotus & F1. Im sure Ferrari cant wait for him.

Over here in the USA, our NBCSN announcers said that Kimi showed 'grit' & showed why Ferrari hired him back! :) To all those say that he was not motivated, according to his contract, not being paid, he did not have to be there at all let alone do it in pain. But he did, & he excelled, because as he said this week, he was only there because he loves the racing.

The Singapore podium is a preview to next year. These three will be up there a lot next season (with Kimi in different colors, of course).

Hopefully, not necessarily in that order all the time.
