WSBK » Who is the best WSBK rider of the decade?

If I may reply in my own defence, I wasn't having a "pop" at RawDawg over JT. I was stating that "a lot" of people on here have a problem with JT (which it appears they do). Rawdawg, I agree. I also would not have JT above CE, or TB. That's why I said "In the top 4" I'd still rate JT's 2nd championship as one of the best wins as he was fighting his own corner (for Honda) pretty much alone that year and fought off some stiff competition, beating TB, Haga, et all. If I had to rank riders, mine would be... 1 Troy Bayliss (3 titles, 52 wins and hard as nails!) 2 Colin Edwards (2 titles, 31 wins, best WSBK year ever 2002) 3 Ben Spies Rookie winner! Outstanding rider. 4 James Toseland (2 titles, 2 bikes) 5 Noriyuki Haga best nearly man ever (*Randy Mamola excluded)and a great rider. There, my hat is in the ring now.

WSBK » Who is the best WSBK rider of the decade?

Alot of folk on here seem to be very anti-JT but seem to forget that he has won the WSBK title twice (and on Ducati and Honda) and that the Honda had little or no traction control that year (something else brought up). Still for me it's Bayliss. But I'd put JT up in the top 4 for the last decade. Like it or not, he's WON the title twice whereas Haga (great a character as he is, he yet to win). I love watching Haga but he still hasn't got that monkey off his back yet. I'd love to hear peoples disagreements rather than simply "disagree" (which takes no effort and doesn't promote a discussion).
