Dear CRASH.net Is it possible to remove the ability to perform multiple Agrees/Disagrees? As this is rendering the whole point meaningless.

WSBK 2009 - confirmed signings.
1 agrees.
Hmm, my earlier post seems to have gotten lost so I'll try again. Unless my maths fails me that's 34 riders and 7 FULL FACTORY teams competing on the WSBK grid next year! Quite a remarkable improvement on 2 years ago when there were only 19 full time riders. Hopefully in 2010 there will be an Eighth when KTM sign on the dotted line! I can't wait!!!

So Mrs Ecclestone, what first attracted you to the billionaire Bernie?

Haga ponders drive-thru, loses record.
1 agrees.
Also, was it just me or were some of the overtakes he pulled yesterday a bit stiff? I'm thinking of the ones on Cal Crutchlow and Leon Haslam where both ended up going off track and losing a lot of places. Clean maybe, harsh definitely.

Haga ponders drive-thru, loses record.
4 agree.
In a word, no. He is also reported as having revved the bike in the paddock till it blew the engine when he did eventually come in. (According to Naill Mackenzie) Much to the annoyance of Jack Valentine and others who were livid that he had ignored the flags and spread oil around 2/3rds of the track. Like you, I lost alot of respect for him for that display of petulence. He ought to know better than that. Corser wasn't happy when he found out it was Haga's oil he crashed on...

Jones honoured at Parkalgar.

Wow, what a nice gesture to a thoroughly nice guy. I hope one day to go to the circuit and to see it for myself. A fitting tribute I feel.

Haslam: Podium bodes well for 2009.
1 disagrees.
The one note I would make is that if Haslam/Rea/Sykes and Crutchlow can make their tyres last a race (as so often hasn't been the case in BSB) then they all could be in with a chance of regular podiums in WSBK. All too often they have started well but haven't "managed" their tyres and used them up early only to fade in the latter stages. Good luck to them all next year though, they certainly have the talent and bikes to do well as we saw this weekend!

Rules is rules and unfortunately if you move AT ALL (no matter if you then stop) you are judged to have jumped the start and receive a penalty. It's crap, but that's the same for everyone. It would have been nice to see a race with Haga and Corser.

Portimao - Free practice times (1).
5 agree.
Good stuff! I know it''s only first practice but it''s nice to see 4 British guys in the top 7! Next year is hotting up already! It''s going to be a LONG winter waiting for this to kick off in 09!

Suzuki seeks podium as points plummet.
5 agree.

Agreed. Capirossi is going nowhere fast (or should that be slow?) and looking unlikely to change. Vermeulen has shown flashes of good form but too inconsistent, perhaps that's just the bike?

FGSport, MSV issue Brands statement.
4 agree.
1 disagrees.
So what the hell are FGSport thinking of more than doubling the price at times like this? Do they not realise that actions like this could effectively kill off a highly successful series? I realise that their own costs will have increased but as the only thing I can see is fuel prices and they are now the same as this time last year, what exactly is the cause of this HUGE price hike?
