WSBK » Fault-free races as EBR makes WSBK debut

Whilst it's OK to have a "Fault free" weekend when you are 3.5-4 secs a lap slow, the problems start when you begin to get to 1 second behind. Aragon is a FAST track with a HUGE back straight where their 33 kmh (Almost 20 mph) deficit is going to show up a lot more. Clearly this bike needs an injection of power but I have no idea where you would find 20 mph out of that engine. I wish them well in their search!

MotoGP » MotoGP to create Factory 2 class?

How about 21 categories, one for each entry? This is wrong, wrong, wrong. It has ALL the hallmarks of Honda being pissed off with Ducati's take on the new rules and demanding SOMETHING be done to reign them in. Funny how F1 has one ECU unit and Honda used that with no remarks of "We'll be leaving if that comes in". The one ECU rule is to make it cheaper for EVERYONE not just open class teams. Something Honda and Livio Suppo seem to forget.

MotoGP » Official: Ducati goes Open class for MotoGP 2014

The thing is, if it's not mentioned in the rules then it's not cheating. There is no "Spirit of rules". It's either legal, or not. Gigi is a very smart guy, and if he can gain any advantage by using the rules as they are stated then he is perfectly entitled to do so. It's not like Honda to go writing the rulebook now is it? Oh, hang on...(800cc rules, check). (Moto2 rules - Honda only engine suplier, check) (Moto3 rules, -not working out as hoped for them though)

MotoGP » Dall’Igna talks Ducati Factory/Open dilemma

rdc: When the engines limit rules first came in, there was a rule about manafactures with out a dry win for 2 years (Suzuki, were not going to make it with limit) getting a larger limit. Is that rule still in effect? If the MSMA are smart, they will have to make concessions to get Ducati able to test and build the bike. Or they will win that battle but loose the war. If that is a bad thing, is another matter.
rdc - Ducati haven't won a dry race for more than 2 years though. So that rule applies to them aswell as Suzuki.
