MotoGP » 'Up and down day' for Redding

Tomco: Over hyped unfortunately, bit like Miller. Hasnt really excelled in any class but has an unfounded reputation. Nicky has mostly outpaced him since his return too.
Mmm hasn't really excelled in any class?? Runner up in Moto2 last year, I know bloody useless, I totally agree! 8th place last week too on a production Honda, he should go back to club racing, he will never do any good in this class. In case you were wondering all sarcasm! I agree Nicky has been on great form since his return, but on the quiet I think he was making sure he has a job next year. You never know how they will get on with a factory bike, look at Bradl, won Moto2 did pretty well in his first year, then seems of not progressed in year 2 on the same bike.

MotoGP » Home roar for Redding, builds Factory case

Paul Jones:
stavo: i seam to recal that scot reading was and still is the youngest winner of a gp race? so this bollox about not much talent is crap! moving on! what happened to the upgrades to this fireblade that was promised? if the thing had the same top speed as the r1 open's then it would be him instead of espargaro wining that class every round instead of coming 2nd
Colin Edwards said on Sunday's coverage that the Forward bike that Espargaro is riding was basically a factory Yamaha same as the Tech 3's but with the softer tyre options.

F1 » Lauda: Hamilton was right to defy team

German driver & team vs English driver & German team, easy to see the team politics really! Seriously though they should of been at least P2 & P3, maybe P1 & P2 not P3 & P4, the team were looking at the big picture (constructors championship) not favouring one or the other driver. Lewis is marking his own cards at the moment, he should maybe play the team game a bit more.

F1 » Ricciardo: Engine deficit ‘throwing away talent’

This has always been the case though, you could be an amazing driver, not get the break or end up in an average car & fade back out of formula one again. There is a pecking order, Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, Williams etc have all had years where they dominate, that's what happens, it's no good moaning about the car not being fast enough because of this or that!! Drive what you have, the fastest you can & hope either your car evolves or change teams at the end of the season to try to improve your chances (That can of course work both ways though), look at Massa & Williams :-)

F1 » Rosberg wins as Hamilton fades

From last years Malaysian GP post race press conference:- Lewis Hamilton says his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, rather than himself, deserved to finish third in the Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang. Rosberg, who finished fourth, felt he was quicker than Hamilton, repeatedly asking his team to allow him past. But team principal Ross Brawn insisted he hold station, adding that Hamilton was backing off to save fuel at the team's request. "He drove a smarter and more controlled race than me," said Hamilton. "He is a great team-mate. I will speak to the team, or apologise. I said to him he did a fantastic job. He had better pace through the race. "Nico deserved to be where I am. With the position in the championship the team thought it was logical to stay in position. Would I let him past in the future? I probably would." What a difference a year makes!! Lewis, stop whining & race, the way your going there won't be many toys left in that pram!

F1 » Rosberg’s pride at silencing ‘very unfair’ critics

All this Mercedes are killing the sport with their dominance is crap, over the last 20, 30 even 40 years there have been seasons where one team is better than the rest (Mclaren where they won nearly all the races in the season, Williams with their active ride car, Ferrari + Schumacher, Redbull + Vettel etc etc). All the teams were given the same regulations to work too, it’s up to them to catch up, just because one team has got it right & produced a cracking car shouldn't mean we switch off from watching. One thing it does show up is that even a so called great driver like Vettel struggles when in a less great car. Just enjoy what is thrown in front of you, fantastic drivers doing what they are great at.

MotoGP » Bradley Smith - Q&A

Bradley as always gets stung by all the haters!! If he had ridden a steadyier race & finished 7 or 8 to grab some points they would have said he doesn't deserve the ride, but he ride the wheels off the thing trying to get a rosterum & drops it in the kitty litter then he also gets hammered. He (until his off) was within 4 seconds of the lead group, far better than last year. He has made a nice step forward in performance from last year. Keep it up Bradley!!!
