MotoGP » Smith keen to protect top satellite status

ampere:
FLtrooper: Exactly.. The statistics don't lie! Rins already has 128 Points. Smith NEVER scored more then 121 points in his two year stint in Moto2. The two are not even on the same level. :)
...and not on the same bike. Where do you think the Mistral should have placed if Smith wasn't riding it? Here are some supporting statistics for the Tech3 team: 2011: Smith 121 Di Meglio 30 Simeon 23 2012: Smith 112 Simeon 23
You also need to add in that Mike Di Meglio was 2008 World Champion on a 125!! So he fed his Ex World Champion team mate to the lions in 2011! The lad is doing well & a lot better than a lot of riders with better bikes, Cal & Scott being two of them, both on close to Factory bikes.

MotoGP » ‘Maxed-out’ Smith leads stormy Catalunya test

@mark.james.7374 "... or him reaching a podium in his Motogp career?" I think if you look at last years stats you will see Brad was on the podium at Phillip Island. So he has reached the podium already, he is within sight of MM in the championship, who is seen by a lot of people as the benchmark in MotoGP at the moment, Yes Marquez keeps binning it, but he is doing that because he is pushing a package that won't do what he needs it to do to stay with the Dukes & Yam's far too hard. You need to stay on the thing to get championship points, you don't get anything for being the fastest man in the world for 2 laps then sliding through the gravel on your ass. So Brad, you don't have the 2015 chassis but you have one that you're developing into a fine racing bike. Keep it up!!

RR » TT 2015: Martin: The bike was better than third

I love Guy, but I think the 2010 crash has taken that I must push hard (extra 0.1%) element out of his racing, I don't mean that in a negative way, far from it. It's just he knows his limits & he isn't going to push too hard & risk another big off!! But lets face it 99.9999999% of us wouldn't know which way he had gone if we tried to keep up with him around the TT. He does seem to be loving the TT this year more than the last few.

F1 » Button: This won’t hurt us...

You've got to feel for Jenson & Fernando, Jenson is playing the team game though, admitting to issues but realising the team are doing what they can with what is a bit of a dog! I just hope his loyalty brings him at least another year with the team, he has been a match for Alonso's speed so far this year & is a great development driver which they really need! It would be a shame for him to be kicked out at the end of the year with what will probably be his worst year in F1 which is no fault of his own.

F1 » Chinese Grand Prix – Race results

StevoG: Everyone should boycott F1 until this boring and monotonous circus ends. This is not racing and F1 hasn't been a racing platform for a very long time. How can this be the pinnacle of motor racing when anyone and everyone knows the result(s) before the qualifying and racing begins.
Do you not remember the McLaren Honda years, the Williams Active car years, the Ferrari/Schumacher years or even the Red-bull/Vettel years & Brawn year for that matter? Why should the fast teams slow down, the slow ones need to catch up, that is racing!
