WSBK » Tom Sykes hits back at Lascorz critics

I used to race in Supersport and like other riders, I have seen people get seriously hurt and killed. All of us act differently and deal with it in our own way, as we all do with serious events that touch our lives. For me, Tom, or any other rider, does not need to give any explanation, because it is personal to them. We can all probably recall a sad or traumatic event and will remember that some showed a lot of emotion, others, a less - same pain, different way of dealing with it. For me, what matters is Joan, his family, his friends and colleagues, lets not create a issue that does not exist, this shows a lack of respect to all. My thoughts for the best recovery possible Joan Mogster

MotoGP » French MotoGP, Le Mans - Friday practice (1)

Watch KC continue in this form for the rest of season as he will be super relaxed now everyone knows he is retiring and can just enjoy his racing. He is one of the most talented guys I have ever seen (gping way back when we raced in MRO, KC on the Priller Superteen). He may not be the darling of the media and at times he does not help himself (like Foggy in some ways) but no-one can deny his talent. Sad loss to the sport, but let's just enjoy til he goes! WSBK » Kawasaki clarifies Peter Hickman position

They are defo Kwaka leathers. If I was Suzuki, I would have some fun in the marketing department - "if you want a real bike, ride a suzuki" as the line under this photo. If I was Kwak, I would use the same photo with "even our competitors use us to go faster". I seem to recall the Suzi and Kwacker had a manufacturing alliance, so maybe a third one of "Beating the competition together"....... In fairness to Hicky, good opportunity and MSS/Kwak should be pleased their rider is in demand and can give them feedback on the Suzi set up - may help, may not, but a good insight anyway. I think Nick Morgan is pretty clued up, so Hicky should expect a top telling off but not the sack - where else would they get another rider like Hicky? Enjoy the experience Pete, you've come a long way since we raced SS400's in MRO and a pleasure to see!

MotoGP » Shane Byrne to make MotoGP return?

It makes absolute sense to run Shakey as he knows the team, especially Phil Borley, so they will understand Shakey's feedback, whereas with a new rider, you need to develop the relationship. I happen to like Paul Bird based on the investment he has made in racing over the last decade and the opportunities he gives to riders, however, in this case, he ideally should have kept his thoughts private. It may be that they can't afford to run two bikes at the next round, so this is the only way to get race feedback. A neater way would have been a private chat with ellison and a phantom training injury for the Le Mans round. Good luck tho, as we need teams out there and lets hope they don't quit. Mog

BSB » Brands Hatch - Testing

Defo No Hopper, there in the paddock, but must have decided to enjoy the sun at Brands today. Best ride must go to Graham Gowland - 46.011, an awesome time and on a used tyre as well. He just was so under the radar in the session, smooth is fast! Will not be as easy on the "long" circuit tomorrow to beat the full on bsb bikes, but hopefully top 15 or better. Mogster

F1 » Lewis Hamilton names his three biggest F1 rivals

Think this sums up Hamilton, he just can't keep his own counsel. Needs some decent PR and guidance. If you say anything at all, it's Vettel is dong a great job, Mark will be a threat as we know the car is fast, JB in same car as me, so clearly he will be a contender, ferrari always are there or there abouts etc etc. He just alienates people - like Max Biaggi, a great racer but just so up himself. Shame really.

BSB » Lowes stuns with pole on Kawasaki debut

An absolute fantastic ride - well done to Alex and also to Nick Morgan and all at MSS, a top team, one of the nicest in the paddock. Think it was Neil Hodgson who recently said he thought Alex was a major talent and should be on a better bike. Birdy and Nick should wild card him in WSBK and also get him under contract quick (maybe suggest less than 10 years tho!!!) Go get a pot tomorrow Alex. Mog #52
