Great ride from Casey, 46 just wasn't fast enough round here.

Best bits about this race:
- The rain yesterday, that was pretty exciting :)
- Eurosport showed it LIVE :-o

Honestly. The best thing Dorna could do (to save costs too) would be to ditch the 800's and pull out the old 990's from 2006. Ban rider aids.

How sweet would that be :D

Haha...I actually laughed when I read this one. What are the FIA thinking?! Hamilton and McLaren's integrity has already been damned, and they lost their third place...isn't that enough? This won't happen, it can't happen. If it does, the whole year will have a sour taste and will mean less to all involved.

Ha, funny. 2 days after I canx my Virgin subscription, thinking "oh, I only use it for MotoGP", this happens. Great to have them back none-the-less. A shame about the non-live stuff, and also the lack of track-presense - as that was a core appeal to the coverage. Opening the window at Mugello, interviewing riders and team bosses and having guests in the booth. But the main news is they are back, we've got proper weekend coverage with some top commentators, which can only be good :D

Love the Williams team since I started watching F1 back in 94, but I've gotta agree with some of the peeps in this thread - what are those winglets doing on the car? They are banned from 2009 right? Much as I want Williams to do well, they should not get overlooked. The car looks great, but those winglets should be banned/removed, no exceptions.

I'm a fan of motor racing, but tax payers should not be bailing out F1 teams. It's bad enough we bail out banks and car firms, but motor racing is entirely optional. Sucks, but it's true.

A shame for Wilson. It's annoying to see people employed because of their surname and Dad's in positions of power...but Graham proved he was pretty good last year. Bourdais we know is class, and Doornbos should be good too. Bourdais deserves F1 though.

Whilst I think he has a point, losing McLaren or Williams would be equally damaging in my view. It''s not healthy to keep stating this Ferrari view (vergine on bias) when you need many teams commited to spend millions to create an exiting sport/profitable business. Nobody will watch 20 Ferrari''s running around the track with no other cars. Ferrari have been in F1 longest. Of course they have and they deserve to be recognised for that. But McLaren have been around since the 60''s and Williams since the 70''s. How long do you have to be commited to F1 before you start getting respect? At this rate, new teams will not be treated well until 2060!

Crash/Belinda, Does anyone know where Belinda's blog is? The only one I can find is at: hxxp://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/sporteditors/belinda_rogerson/ This was last updated on Nov 2007, I've had a look but cannot find anything else, no contents page for the bloggers or contact mails for them. I wanted to gain a balanced view by reading BBC fans posts from 2008, but uinfortunately it looks like the last time anything was written was over a year and 3 months ago...Any help would be appreciated. Suggestion - rather than answer Q's in this messy forum, why not have Crash pick thhe good questions out and answer them in a proper news post format?

Hi Belinda, Thanks for respoonding, especially with some of the moronic personal comments posted by some. Whilst it isn't the BBC's fault that this is happening, a lot of fans find it a shame that they won't be listening to their favourite team - the fact that they put up with a 4:3 picture, mono sound and ad breaks should show how strongly these fans appreciate Eurosports coverage and commentary team. Most people in the MotoGP paddock (riders including Rossi) will back what most here are saying - that Eurosport had it right. It seems so odd that Dorna would remove something their fans loved...and for what benefit? It's such a shame. WSB is looking very tempting this year.
