MotoGP » Simoncelli summoned to Race Direction

I guess I must have have been watching a different race to most of the irrational commentators here. Maybe they were actually asleep when this incident happened. To say that Simo was riding safely and sensibly is ludicrous. How may agressive riders had a go at him that weekend alone????? And Dani was going too fast into the corner, yeah right!! I am all for agressive SAFE racing, that's what it is all about isn't it? The only reason Simo got nabbed because he was riding outside his ability, PLUS a number of riders had altercaions with him over that fact. That weekend and the few previous one. The guy has talent no doubt, but he has to learn to use it wisely. The picture you are all getting excited about does not show it for how it actually was. Pedarosa going into the corner too fast, hmmmm. Simo in front and under control before the apex, come on!! If you are under control there is no need to use the guy along side you a a berm. This is not AMX or similar at 100ks. I suppose you same

MotoGP » FMI defends Misano Moto2 decisions

Correct me if I am wrong but poor Tomi was dead on the track. I was disgusted at the way he was shovelled off the track, just to keep the race going. If there was any chance of saving him they would have stopped the race and worked on him where he was - you do not move a critically injured person like they did. In the past on many occasions when someone has died at the track, they end up "dying" in transit or at the hospital. If they die at the track the meeting has to stop. In reality even though this happens quite often, they never "actually" die at the track. Not good for their back pockets, sad as it is.

F1 » POLL: Will Michael Schumacher quit at season's end?

One can only hope he does. I for one stated at the start that I did not want him back. Give some new blood a chance. Maybe the practice/testing rules need to be changed so that drivers and teams can get more hours under their belts. This would have many benefits especially to the new teams. I know it takes something extra special to be at the top but surely the pool of drivers capable of driving these cars is not as small as it seems.
