Piquet got sacked because he is slow. Period. He didn't have what it takes to drive in F1. Now this stage mom is going to make every one pay for sacking her kid.

And if you think bending of the rules doesn't exist in F1, as it does in every professional sport, I pity you.

Personally I will miss Flavor Flav and sadly have to sit and watch the colorful and unique get pushed out of F1. My understanding is next year in pit lane everyone will have to wear Savile Row suits.

Ben, Ben, Ben. After watching Simoncelli school you on riding on a bike he's never ridden, on a track he'd never ridden your ego is talking and you're listening. You're a big bike rider. MotoGP is far more like 250 class racing then what you are used to. With the cornering speed and electronics you're unprepared for what you're going to find. Yamaha would have been far better off with Crutchlow since an R6 is far closer to a MotoGP bike then the Gisxers you're used to riding. Simoncelli will be rookie of the year on Gresini Honda. Mark my words.

My understanding is the deal Rubens was offered at the beginning of the season was "here is a car, but you have to pay your own way, take it or leave it." Don't know if that's exactly true or has changed with sponsorship or not, but for sure it would show Rubens desire and drive to succeed.

If by best it means pulling over for McLarens, then yes it does.
