Hamilton addressed his error by letting the Ferrari back through!

Penalty is a travesty of racing etiquette.

Should be reversed on appeal.

Because Stoner's engineers listen to his input. Stoner and the Ducati plus the Bridgestone tyre are a "complete" package at the moment and he is able to practice or test a 'race pace" for a considerable number of laps. You develop a 'race" fitness. Mike :)

By the looks of the comments, Stoner waited for a few laps to pass before moving. It appears that the Ducati is marginal on fuel economy so the strategy appears to be "hang in there, ride "quietly" and then apply all the pressure necessary to perform" Mike

Yes, it is just a case of waiting for next weekend. It appears that they have accumulated a lot of good data so the combination should be close to the mark from the first practice for the :) :) :) :) :) race Mike

Looking quite settled at such an early stage of testing. Stoner will need to do a lot of riding to get race fitness after the fall prior to Christmas. Mike

Mr Burbridge, I understand that he fell off just prior to Christmas because the 2008 Specifications were not settled and it induced a high-sided unscheduled demount. It appears at this very early stage that the package is getting settled quite nicely, thank you very much. Mike
