When men get "older" and have greater responsibilities (wife and perhaps children), there is a tendency to "think a matter through" instead of being "impulsive!" Stoner MAY have a golden era over the next few years but as soon as the wife begins to talk "family and less travelling out of a suitcase", then he may lose that edge. I honestly thought he was going to talk about the flower arrangements in turn 5, the texture of the table cloth in the team dining room and the type of salad dressing he used on his salad (and steak) at dinner on Saturday night!!! Hard to tell unless we can see the laps per "block" in the session. Stoner is renowned for running a "race distance" practice to get a realistic feel for the total package. Mike

Far too early to call after the 1st free practice!! What will be significant is if Stoner and Rossi both settle in to do "race distance" during FP2 with a "race" tyre - margins at the end of the next session may be a better reading of the respective packages Mike
