Just no. Totally Gutted.

Eurosports commentating team is one of the best on TV, and their full days coverage of all three races, and some, destroys what the BBC do.

******* Dorna. MotoGP is slowly but surely going the way of F1. There must an equivalent of Bernie Ecclestone in there somewhere... I give it 5 - 7 years maximum before it been totally ruined by the money hungry people in charge.

Well Button has done this before when he screwed over Williams didn't he... I wouldn't take last year away from him, but I don't like the way he appears to conduct himself.

Got to agree with RaceFan. This is a very sensationalist headline There is a BIG difference between a driver saying "I am the best" and "I think I am still the best" Every driver thinks that, and as richard said, it's said as a bit of banter. Crash you are turning into a cheap tabloid style site. Looks like I will have to go elsewhere for my motorsport news And now I wait for you to delete this comment as you usually do in your draconian way...

Dray, FFS man, grow the hell up. So he crashed on the sighting lap. Stupid, yes, embarrassing yes. But they have all made stupid mistakes. You give MotoGP fans a bad name with your childish behaviour.

@gp You can't be saying you were not impressed by Spies performance after only a couple of hours on the bike before the race?

Good Race Ride of the race for me goes to Spies, lost a couple of places at the start and to fight his way back. Anyone who think he is not the real deal and can't cut is in for a shock next year. As for Stoner, a little embarassing. But everyone has made such stupid mistakes at some point. Now the long wait...

As much as you can moan about Fabrizio and Tardozi(spelling?) not helping Haga, Spies had no help from anyone (Sykes been off the pace all season) and still went out there got the job done. At the end of the day you can analyse the results from every race and how that would effect the championship, but none of it matters now. Spies is Champ 09 and did it coming back from a 90 point deficit. @Poison. I'd love to see a brit rider win a championship, but I don't think Haslam or Byrne could have taken it to Spies this year. Who knows.

Also proves that you shouldn't write a rider of becuase of where he comes from. Loads of people said Spies wouldn't do anything because AMA was a rubbish series with no real competition. If you are good, your good, it wasn't Spies fault the other teams and rider couldn't keep up.

@nori "the fact remains Nori went into this round with 5 more "points" of pressure than need be and that is ultimately what told and made the difference" Maybe, maybe not. We will never know. What we do know is that the ultimate difference was him binning it in race 1. But Spies was just as deserving as Haga, even more so in some way as it was his rookie season.
