Just no. Totally Gutted.

Eurosports commentating team is one of the best on TV, and their full days coverage of all three races, and some, destroys what the BBC do.

******* Dorna. MotoGP is slowly but surely going the way of F1. There must an equivalent of Bernie Ecclestone in there somewhere... I give it 5 - 7 years maximum before it been totally ruined by the money hungry people in charge.

It was obvious speis was too good to stay in AMA. Mladin is quick and he Spies had the measure of him three years in a row. Taking pole and a fairly easy win in Race 2 on a new bike and new circuit shows he is a world class rider. There is no doubt he would have been challenging for the win in race 1 as well had he not go pushed out wide in the first race. I believe we also saw who the best British rider were, I've always rated Haslam and Rea as the best British, well after Toseland anyway who is seriously quick on a superbike. Great race, glad to see the rest of the teams have caught up with the questionable Ducati, should be a vintage year of racing.

So Nitro Nori, whats your next excuse. He has been to Phillips Island before (MotoGP) knows the basic charachters is of the bike. Yet Byrne doesnt anything in either race before dumping the bike. He's a good domestic rider, but average at best on the world stage. As for Speis, Race 2 was an accurate refelection of what he can do on a new bike AND new circuit.

Where is Robsee and the 22 plebs that agreed with him from the race 1 comments. He gets caught out and pushed wide in 1 race and you starting making cluess stupid comments like "look what happens when Ben is in a crowed". Get a clue and do some research on some of races through the grid in AMA. EVERY rider has gone off at the first corner loads of times in their career. Look what happens when he gets off the grid and through the first corner. He made an great pass on Haga to take the lead back and win by over a second. As for Nifty Nev. ARe you for real. If anyone gets away with murder its Ducati with their 1200CC!! 1098. Rules are rules and should be adjusted for no one.

Byrne is a solid rider. But I have no idea why some people rate him so highly. The only time he has ever done anything is when he has been on a domanint bike. I don't think he will be in the top three of the championship come the end of the year.

Im not really sure why Nascar drivers would want to come into F1. Nascar is now the biggest sport in America as far as I'm aware, there is probably as much money to be made there as there is in F1. Nascar is like no other "domestic" series. Most races have a bigger trackside attendence that most F1 races have ever seen. The racing puts much more emphasis on the driver than the car and is a lot closer. And its clearly not easy, Montoya is a great and diverse driver but he is yet to be much more than an also run in NASCAR

He's 100% correct. F1 - The racing is dull, the car is dull. The drivers/rdiers in every other sport have more charachter than in F1. MotoGP and NASCAR are good examples. Particularly NASCAR, the biggest sport in America and the sponsor is king. Yet the drivers have a ton of personality and are often outspoken and controversial. They still bring in the money and the sponsors. So I don't buy the having to behave for the PR and spnors ********. I used to love F1, it was far and away my favourite sport. But now it's just crap. It has no redeeming features at all. I'd rather watch Superbikes, V8's, DTM, BTCC, Indycar, MotoGP etc etc hell even tractor pulling is more entertaining than F1

@Ellen Fair enough on the pit exit one, one of the FIA's many inconsistent decisions But the other two were bad lack. Senna had his fair share of it, especially the dog incident, couldnt believe that when it happened. But every championship won and lost has an element of luck. But that does not make Pantano a less deserving Champion and Senna the "real" champion, or some kind joint or vice champion. The history books show he finished second, very respectable and Pantano the champion. Luck is very much a part of motorsport

Its a bit late for F1 to start worrying about embarassing themselves. 10 years to late.

"A vice champion can be somebody who lost the GP2-title in only his 4th year of racing due to some technical problems and strange punishments" Care to explain that one?

Indeed it is a modern classic, best new circuit I've seen in a long time.
