MotoGP » 1000cc to open MotoGP door for Brits?

@RawDawg "The manufacturers have proven time and again that they could careless about the entertainment factor in MotoGP" Sorry can't let this go. It's COULDN'T care less. By saying 'could care less' you imply that they could care less than they already do. It just doesn't make any sense. If someone doesn't care at all about something, and shows this by saying "I could care less", it makes no sense as they are literally saying, yes I dislike this, but I could dislike it even more. If you really don't care about something then it's "I couldn't care less" meaning I can't care less than I already do. See :) See- youtube.com/watch?v=uCUsPnKD1gk

F1 » Alonso, Ferrari cry 'scandal' at 'manipulated' result

@jeff "its a bloody joke hamilton always gets away with braking the rules. He raced Alonso down the pits in Canada and nothing happened, and now this. What a joke." Oh really? What about getting penalized against a rule that was made up AFTER THE RACE where the incident occurred. Anyway Hamilton DIDN'T get away with anything, he was penalized and did his penalty. This was down to the incompetence of the FIA, nothing more.

F1 » Alonso, Ferrari cry 'scandal' at 'manipulated' result

Just read elsewhere that, none of the other teams, including Red Bull, who would surely have the most reason to be annoyed with the FIA are rubbishing suggestions that the result was manipulated. I don't think Hamilton did this on purposes, could see he wasn't sure waht to do It was just bad luck for the other teams. Hamilton made a mistake and was penalized. If the penalty had come earlier he may have lost positions which he may well have gained again by racing his way back to second. But you can't change the penalty because of the FIA incompetence just to make sure the driver definitely looses places. He served his penalty and had enough space to join still in 2nd. Lets move on now

F1 » Hamilton: 2010 'the ultimate F1 challenge'

@beeflin "The 2010 rules are working. I don't think I've ever seen such a lot of close racing in a GP as in yesterday's race, have you?" 1969 Italian GP I think. Top 4 covered by less than a second Canada was good race, but it was a result of conditions and the tyres not coping well with the abrasive track. But it made for a great race and I think it goes someway to prove that less grip and areo efficiency provides better racing. The drivers lack grip after only 8 to 10 laps and it's not a high downforce track with fast sweepers. And at the moment it does seem to be heading to one of the closest championship fights ever.

WSBK » Phillip Island - Superpole qualifying times

@ 8-bugref-8 "I am looking forward to their warm up performance hope they can improve on it tomorrow." Why? Warm-up doesn't mean much. Only two sessions have any meaning, Qualyfying, and even then all you really need to do is get on first two rows, and of course the race. The other sessions we have no ideas what the riders are doing, so they don't really mean anything. People read way to much into testing, practice sessions etc etc. No points for those.

WSBK » Phillip Island - Superpole qualifying times

@ H8R " Toseland out qualified by his teammate...here come the excuses." No excuses for Toseland, but he did use all his qualifying tyres in SP2, hence the single run in SP3. And I don't think anyone expected Crutchlow to be slow Anyway, with 16 wins and 2 championships to Toselands name, what exactly are you suggesting? Awesome run by Haslam, I've been saying for years he was under rated, he seemed to take a lot of stick in his BSB days, but his first pole on a factory bike and look what he does. Definitely one to look out for at the end of the year As for Byrne, well business as usual then.
