...and he has proved when you given him half decent car he will grab the opportunity with both hands. Basically Hamilton has done very little wrong this year, certainly nothing that would cause someone to dislike him. Awesome job by him, Kovi and the team. I would say one low light may have been his attitude during the German Grand Prix. However you can no longer thrash a car to death safe in the knowledge you will get a brand new in at the next race. With the current engine and gear box rules I could see where he was coming from.

Well said 2pac. I have liked Hamilton since I first saw him in F3 Euro and into GP2. It was after his GP2 race at Silverstone in 2006(?) that I really started paying attention. In his first couple of years he did say and do a few dumb things. But that's to expected when you are thrust into limelight like he was in a front running team and when your not so competent father is your manager. However this year he has matured and learned a lot IMO. He has proved he would not desert his team, he has proved he can develop a car and lead a team, and he has proved that he can be very humble as he was at the start of year...

Lol 2pac, I know exactly what it means I just can't stand the term, sounds so stupid. And I can't stand they way it used. And finally I hate how it has brought about the perception that if you are critical of something or someone "your a hater". Apparantly there is no neutral ground anymore, you are either a fan (or more often fanboy) or a hater. I perhaps phrased my 'question' wrong, it was rhetorical really anyway. I'm 28 BTW.

@ 2pac "mclaren's simulations showed the swb car (hamilton is driving) would be 2 tenths quicker than the car used in hungary (kovi is driving)" That was at faster circuits like Monza and Spa. Weather the SWB car is an advantage at Valencia was unknown. However as there is no in-season testing they had to give it to one of the drivers for the race before they ran it at the races it was intended for.

"Even though I'm an MS hater" How old are you? Who says that? What's a "hater" for a start. Im no fan of MS, but wouldn't go as far as saying I hate them. And certainly would go about saying I'm a hater (where did that term come from anyway...) like it's something to be proud of.

Well thats an awesome job by McLaren. To take the car they started the season with to now lock out the front row with no in season testing is impressive. Will be interesting to see fuel levels (bring on 2010 qual rules...) Expected more from Force India. And well, well a Ferrari last. Found that a little amusing.
