Just no. Totally Gutted.

Eurosports commentating team is one of the best on TV, and their full days coverage of all three races, and some, destroys what the BBC do.

******* Dorna. MotoGP is slowly but surely going the way of F1. There must an equivalent of Bernie Ecclestone in there somewhere... I give it 5 - 7 years maximum before it been totally ruined by the money hungry people in charge.

Awesome win by Button. However the crap aerodynamics rules for F1 ruined that race. The areo of an F1 car is very impressive, but it makes for dull racing. While the cars can get a little closer this year, unless you are 1.5 - 2 seconds a lap a faster you have no chance of passing without a banzai dive where you have a 50/50 chance of making it out the other side. That was not a battle between Button and Vettel, more like between Brawn and Newey. It's not the drivers or designers fault, it's the rules. FOTA and FIA need to stop arguing and working together. Cutting costs is a great idea, but the rules need thought out, again, with careful consideration this time.

Well that's enough of that. The crap aerodynamics of an F1 car (for good racing) ruined that race. While the cars can a little closer, unless you are 1.5 - 2 seconds a lap a faster you have no chance of passing without a banzai dive where you have a 50/50 chance of making it out the other side. That was not a battle between Button and Vettel, more like between Brawn and Newey. When a small first lap mistakes ruins a race for both that driver and the fans, something is FAR wrong

BTCC was at its absolute best through the 80's and 90's. In comparison it's a bit of a joke now.

Bloody hell, isn't this all a bit over the top. So they lied, give them a sensable panelty, get over it and forget about it. Yet again the off track politics is more prominant than what goes on on-track. F1 is such a horrible sport these days.

You need both Stephen, a healthy field of both works or manufacturer supported and independent teams. I agree the BTCC is a shadow of it's former self, however even when there were 6 plus works teams there was also a huge amount of independent teams and that's when it was at it's best. The independent teams are where the passion is at. I find it hard to support a corporate brand who will pull out of F1 as soon as they stop seeing a return for their investment, where as an independent team will race until the bitter end when they have no money left to do so. And agreed on the need for smaller teams. Somebody has to be at the back sadly, and no one wants an 8 car grid.

True enough Al, I forgot to take Toyota's penalty into consideration there.

Top 10 in order of weight Nick Heidfeld BMW-Sauber 691kg 9th Fernando Alonso Renault 680kg 10th Rubens Barrichello Brawn GP-Mercedes 666kg 2nd Jenson Button Brawn GP-Mercedes 664kg 1st Mark Webber Red Bull Racing-Renault 662kg 8th Sebastian Vettel Red Bull Racing-Renault 657kg 3rd Nico Rosberg Williams-Toyota 657kg 5th Kimi Raikkonen Ferrari 655kg 7th Felipe Massa Ferrari 654kg 6th Robert Kubica BMW-Sauber 650 kg 4th The two points of interest for me is that the Ferraris are some of the lightest cars in the top 10 yet still only managed 6th and 7th and the Brawn cars pace seems completely genuine as they are in the top 4 heaviest cars.

As I understand the cars outside the top 10 can start the race on whatever fuel load they want. Although I'm not sure if they have to confirm this before the weights are released... Those in the top 10 start the race on the fuel they ended qualyfying with. So for the cars outside the top, their weight has no relevance in relation to their qualifying times as all cars are on low fuel loads in the first two sessions. Might want to think about that one FrankG before making silly comments.

Agreed, Eddie Jordan needs to go. Not a very good pundit.

childish indeed. If you are older than 14 I'd be pretty embarrassed with myself.
