Great result from both Leon and the new Stiggy WSBK team.
Leon can't afford to slip up, there is a crowd of Crash forum posters ready and waiting with the knives sharpened! Ok he may not come across that great in interviews but he's hardly as odious as say a John Kocinski. Maybe they can't forgive him for having a famous Dad?
Good luck to the lad, his results in the last half of 2008 and his start to this years campaign will hopefully continue.

The fact that James only placed fourth behind Joe Calzaghe, Lewis Hamilton and Ricky Hatton, in the year that he achieved his second WSBK title maybe speaks volumes about the profile of motorcycle sports in the UK. We have a similar problem in NZ. Rugby, cricket and horses get the backing of the large breweries that, with the stigma of shocking drink driving rates, won't touch motor sports.

Dovi really will be the Honda man to watch. If the first test is any indication Elias could be good for some good finishes (wins?) though. It would be great to see him up the front a bit more as the lad has a unique style on the bike and some unorthodox lines as well.

Calm yer breeks Brendan. I don't think Jack meant that it was an intentional pay back. Burnicle is a class act. His commentary is enthusiastic, lyrical, humorous and the pairing with Witham is really working now (it was a bit clunky the first season) I think he has been around bike sport for years as a (motocross?) photographer and seems to have a good rapport with the riders Cheers
