RR » Michael Dunlop in factory BMW deal for 2014

Colin Simpson: So all that bleating about having a year off was just a negotiating tactic?
Absolutely correct! I said it from day 1, there is no way he wasn't going to ride this year - his stock is at an all time high, he won 4 last year and road racing is how he makes his living. He just wanted the money he thought he deserved, which I guess he has now. Good move by BMW - MD always has a good chance whatever bike he's on, and it would be a great foray into road racing if they can win a few TTs.

MotoGP » Honda would 'stop' if software is controlled

I have to say, though Honda are a large part of Motogp - they shouldn't be able to control which way the championship heads. If Honda were that bothered about R + D, they would purely do it behind closed doors, where they could run any electronics/fuel allowance they like. Honda are in Motogp because winning Motogp is a good way to promote your brand, and that won't change. Honda just want to keep their monopoly on winning, the R + D excuse is a convenient one thats all.

MotoGP » Sepang MotoGP test times - Thursday (Final)

Great to see Aleix under 2 minutes... he could add some much needed spice to things this year. However, the harsh reality is that race pace is the thing that counts - and again we see JL and MM out front, it looks as though VR can keep the pace for a few laps (same as last year) but cannot keep it going as long as the other 2. I hope VR can improve that aspect, as no one would like to see him win as much as me. Looks like another JL/MM fight again, possibly with a bit more venom this year?
