MotoGP » Scott Redding pulls out of TT appearance

I agree with Scott. The TT is too dangerous nowadays, it has crossed the line in my opinion between a thrilling sport, and like Scott says, a 'death race'. As others have said, the competitors know the ricks etc, but top riders are being paid handsomely to participate, their livlihood depends on them racing - I don't think it is fair on the family or friends of these riders if I'm honest. At least SOMETHING should be done to mitigate the risks involved - limiting the bikes to 150mph maybe, or softer tyres they swap half way... I don't know, but its only going to get faster and people will be killed. It is human sacrifice at the alter of motorsport, and its had its day.

MotoGP » Rookie Espargaro: ‘Hey man, you’re in third!’

Good ride by Pol, but thats as far as I'd go - he was still beaten by Bautista (I rate him highly but people love to slag him off on here). And Pol beat Smith this week and now he's a much better rider/Bradley is terrible etc. I agree it is ominous and I'd be perfectly willing to accept Pol is better than Smith, but not just yet, Bradley is better than people here think.
