He got picked for the ride because he's ridden for the team for two years - and clearly impressed them. He's beaten any team-mate they've put with him, and achieved podiums and fastest laps in Moto2 on a bike the team openly admit isnt the best out there - if they think he deserves it, who are we to disagree?! He's a smooth clever rider too and will crash much less than Cal this year!

So frustrating that no-one during an interview offers any insight or predictions at all going into the first race - why bother saying 'oh we don't know about fuel and tyres etc etc' just say you don't know or have a guess based on your instinct! We don't care if you're wrong but dont want to listen or read the few lines about how we'll really know when we get to qualy in Melbourne, we already know that!
