MotoGP » Rossi: We are quite worried

Ref: Sasha You've hit the main problems on the head. They need to work out what stiffness they need, put the mass as near as possible in the right place for good weight distribution, then you can set the bike up. Not sure the vee makes a lot of difference unless its a wide between cyl's. The thing its not until Rossi came to Ducati that anything will be done. That's why Stoner possibly the best rider around and will be for a while. Think how only he made the Ducati work over the years, it was Stoner playing a big part. Ducati will get there though.

MotoGP » 'Happy' Crutchlow overcomes adversity at Sepang

I'm probably going to get an ear bashing now but this commenting is just like being at the hotel bar (sometime if you get finished in time) at the end of the day after finishing the bike after practice. Actually Cal stands a good chance of doing ok in MGP he needs to keep a level head, mustn't be afraid to ask the team for help especially these early days. I hope that his team work hard for him. There hasn't been many riders that can do it in MGP coming from WSB. Troy Bayliss is one. Its normally the other way. But Cal has a chance as long as he get a chance. Plus there's a few more British rider still to come in the future! It could really fun!

I think cal has a chance to do ok, he has a lot to learn and it will be the team and race engineer whom need to keep things smooth and positive. One thing that Cal bought up which maybe could have been looked at quicker if he'd talked about it to the race engineer, but would have been easy to see on the data is if the front was riding high. You dont have to go too crazy as Cal had to get up to speed but it might have been better to change the balance sooner for him and not wait 2 days on a std Yamaha setting (what ever that means) and him try harder and loose the front end. Come on Tech 3 work a bit quicker please. Cal needs to stay focused this year, if he's not happy about the setting talk with the race engineer, look at the data, its all there to be found. At the same time its down to Cal learning the tracks and his trade.
