Its not as if this rule wasn't in place at the start of the season, so why protest now? Not sure if i've missed something, but smacks a little of a desperate manufacturer to me. If I remember correctly they elected not to run their diesel engine, so perhaps concentrate on raising their own game again over complaining :?

What Renault would have lost in commercial revenue and non fulfillment of contractual obligations to sponsors would far exceed a triffling $50k. They must have been laughing when they heard this :?

Apologies, I thought were were on this site to discuss the touring cars at the weekend, not the school playground. So after the annoucement of Plato's telling off, more importantly, were the results changed -can't see any mention of it.

This is getting quite stupid and tedious now. Re the revs and bumps comment - surely thats the point of a limiter, all cars would so it, it's never been an issue before, and all tracks have bumps in them!

The only thing lacking with the current BTCC is manufacturers - and this factor doesn't determine how entertaining the series is. In terms of racing, variety of cars, calibre of drivers - it's arguably somewhere near it's best. Certainly no complaints from me.

I can't see what BMW think they will achieve from this exercise for the Marrakech event- SEAT aren't going to have run "illegal" cars - it's going to come down to how this pressure is measured and the point where this reading is taken (I won't pretend to understand the technicals). It's going to be a battle of symantics and intepretation of rules, (which is part of motorsport anyway) in which case it'll come back to the FIA who are hardly going to turn round, shoot themselves in the foot and declare the results void. At most the rules will be redrafted for future events.

Awesome stuff and fantastic Silverline has extended their relationship with JP and other backers also stepping up. Really didn't think I was going to be reading this news after reading the Autosport interview this morning. Loads of work behind the scenes I'm sure, but having JP, RML and the Chevvy running for a full season is great news.

Doesn't sound much like a V8 to me? Infact it sounded like the S2000 car for the most part of that video...
