Correct me if I'm wrong, but the general consensus is that Randy got shafted when Elias got the LCR ride, and I agree. Riding the Duc may have hurt him more than anything in his career so far.

Casey seems much more likeable and happy in interviews now that he doesn't care what the press says. It makes me sad that it took retirement to make that happen.

We all like to say that ifs and buts mean nothing in racing, but it does these two plenty of good to put on a show like this every race. Even with a few crashes they'll be a hot comodity for teams and sponsors next year. The camera loves them.

This is very cool and interesting, but I just can't wrap my head around a spec series for some reason. I understand the concept (human element triumphing over technical) but I wish I could love Indy as much as something like F1. Can someone explain it to me?

I'll admit I've never been the world's biggest fan of Casey Stoner, but I've also wished my favorite riders would actually reach his level. It saddens me that it looks like I won't be able to have that hope next season.

Bottom line is, we of the public know nothing about what is going on at Ducati, but I will say it's a given Rossi needs to meet the bike at least halfway, unless the layout is completely revamped. I'm going to stop speculation there, because all I care about is having more riders elbowing each other for wins, especially on different bikes.
