F1 » Whitmarsh plays down 'favourite' tag

I obviously don't have much to back this up, but something tells me that Whitmarsh has not been the best thing for Mclaren over the recent years. He knows his job, but we can all see that he's definitley not Uncle Ron, who would have eked at least one championship out of the last few seasons, and made sure things like the twitter debacle wouldn't even happen, imo. I don't have much against him, but to me he comes off as almost too nice.

F1 » Webber tries GP3 as protégé takes title

Hate to troll, but isn't this a somewhate facetious and presumpitve sentence with which to start: "Mark Webber already has strong ties to the GP3 Series, but happily accepted the opportunity to help launch its second generation car in the build-up to this weekend's Italian Grand Prix." It almost implies this is a grudging imposition for Webber, when we really have no idea either way. blogging and journalism are different. It's all in the use of "already...BUT happily..." I accept mistakes and/or opinions in one, not the other.

F1 » Kubica wants F1 return, but not in 2013

@ JC Your point is valid, but the flipside to it is, "why do we need Kubica nuthuggers here just pointlessly spouting about his mythical return?" That is the purpose, ideally, of a forum like this: to provide an outlet for our opinions to be (logically?) discussed. Regardless, no matter how much anyone likes him, we have to be realistic enough to accept it may take an act of God to get Kubi back in F1.

F1 » Boullier: Why would Kimi want to go to Ferrari?

Honestly, I didn't really believe the Ferrari rumors last time around, but it's more to do with my confidence in Kimi being able to stick around and win a WDC with McLaren than anything else. However, Kimi has shown me that he knows how to pick the right team (quite a luxury in this driver market), and will do so this time around. I don't really care where he is, I just want another championship out of him.

MOTOGP » Red Bull Rookies Cup goes four-stroke for 2013

Considering I'm relatively new to motorcycling, I just don't know the appeal of a two-stroke beyond the theoretical weight vs. power advantages, etc. I read recently that companies like OSSA are developing direct injection which may yet revive two stroke technology. If anyone knows anything about this, please enlighten us, it seems promising.
