Stitcho and breast, I am so pleased that not all F1 fans are so unbelievably brainless!!
Your comments are sensible ones and show real intelligence.
Yes, we all feel for Lewis and Kimi for that matter, as the rain ruined a great race, but back to THE PASS, Lewis has once again shown his rookie side. His desperation to prove himself. He did gain an advantage and should have FULLY given Kimi the lead back. It was obvious that he had the better car underneath him in the wet and would have been able to take the lead cleanly within the next two laps. Rookie error. End of!!

Hamilton: I made a mistake and I paid for it.

Jim C, Like your comment sir. I am sure that deep down all F1 followers know that Vettel, Alonso and possibly Kubica would have done the job in Maclaren weeks ago. If Lewis does get the championship, he won't have won it, Ferrari will have given it to him, FIA intervention or not!

Runner, how very wrong you are. I do know about blind panic and I dare say that I know a great deal more than your good (questionable) self about the ins and outs of racing. You have your opinions, I have mine. Read them, respect them and don't be so conceited to think that everyone is looking at the world through your eyes only.

Senna made some mistakes of course, I didn't say otherwise, but Lewis has made more in his first two years than Senna made in his career!!!!! End of.

You seen Alonso make a mistake this year? Most complete driver witout a shadow, Alonso, then Vettel. Kubi has been off the boil a couple of times don't you think?

And another thing Lewis fans, Senna may have had the same attack attitude that Lewis obviously has, but I really can't remember Ayrton making rediculous mistakes of this nature in order to prove himself. Good driver maybe, but Lewis will never be a Senna.

Let's face it, all the Lewis fans just will not agree that this was a school boy error from him. He messed up the start and in desperation to prove himself he threw caution to the wind, AGAIN, and risked taking himself and many other drivers out in the very first corner. He nearly took out his team mate, had Hiekki not skillfully got out of the situation, then sent drivers off the track because of his bull-headed, "I am" attitude. Not one driver/team combination deserves the championship this year, especially not Lewis/Maclaren, closely followed by Massa/Ferrari. Based on getting the best out of a car, Alonso is the man in 2008.

Amazing isn't it? All the millions of pounds/dollars spent in F1 and the huge steps forward in technology........ A great big lollypop stick type thing is the best way to let drivers know that their 10 second tea break is over!
