WSBK » Honda launches 2012 WSBK challenger

Looks like it could be a good thing. Very good on the road. The ride-by-wire throttle system has made a difference already this weekend in WSBK. LanceTheHooliganAlbon I agree and if the new Ducati specs you mention are correct Don Carlos will be hard to beat next year....... But " 195hp weighing in at 176kg wet " seems like it might be a little optimistic. Would that be 195 hp at the rear wheel or at the gearbox or maybe measured at the brochure. 176 Kilograms seems extremely light for a road Duck straight out of the shop. As a Ducati nut I would love it to be true. Of corse the price will be even more unbelievable! Go 86

MotoGP » Full Moto3 technical regulations announced

Goodbye two strokes thanks for all the good times. Easter 1982 at Mount Panorama. walking up from frogs hollow the air redolent of Castrol R 2 stroke oil, the smell of Grand Prix motorcycle racing. @ A B I must agree, RIP two-strokes. It's been fun, we'll miss you. At the start of a race, in the boring middle stages and at the checkered flag we WILL remember them. Because we love them. Ago winning the first ever 500cc title on a blue smoke. Willing & Hansford dicing around Bathurst in an Australian Gp. Dani Pedrosa, Stoner & Lorenzo on 250s. Rossi on an Aprilia 125 around Suzuka death circuit. Ronnie Toombs on that Kawasaki H2R even 1996 at eastern creek. Ah two strokes.

MotoGP » Sixth fastest Hayden has 'fun' on Motegi day one

@ cheetah they cannot pull the front wheel back to steepen the rake because it will hit the front of the engine/radiator. there is not enough space. because the 90 degree vee four donk is bigger than all the other motors in MotoGp. the distance between the front of the engine to the swing arm pivot is the limiting factor I think. As Aussiebum posted with the swing arm pivoting in the engine cases it is also extremely difficult to change the pivot point/angle of the swing arm.Limits on engine use also complicate matters.

WSBK » Emotional Rea back to his best at Imola

Congratulations Jonathan Rea. two great rides, a win, and handled the immense disappointment of race two very well. Yesterday LeisureSuit Larry was saying, posted on here, that the blade was an old shibby that would never do anything & next years version is cr4p to. Lounge lizard Larry said the "Honda is so far behind the 8 ball that a slight 'evolution' will just not cut it." Well if that is correct the Jonny must be a great rider. BTW Ayrton Badovini is doing good work & Mark Aitchison beat the old Croc.
