MotoGP » Tragedy strikes Simoncelli Supermoto event

from what i have read on Repubblic Sport Rombomi slid off the track and was hit by Gianluca Vizziello, who was on another section on the circuit going "traveling in the opposite direction to his own" the layout is flat with no barriers to hit but no separation between different parts on the same circuit. so sorry to hear this sad news Doriano was a good man & a great racer.

MotoGP » Rossi warns Saturday weather ‘may be worse’

Regarding the story and what Valentino Rossi is quoted " pity about today because there was good conditions for riding on the track” he said. “It was wet but there was no wind and not too much water so it's a pity that because of the helicopter we cannot ride. It's an important day today because it looks like tomorrow the weather will be worse." IMO they could have brought the Heli in earlier. kept it in hanger & had Heli up at track. about fog. but it is cheaper to save 2 or 3 days Heli hire? Honda, who built & own the circuit(s), know & knew they need medivac because of remote location and no on site medical facilities. AFAIK I have never been to Motegi so just going on 2nd hand info.

MotoGP » Doubts over MotoGP race distance

Not good enough. and now Carmelo is going to dictate tyre pressures to be used. WTF. "teams and riders have ignored the recommendations of the official tyre suppliers on issues such as tyre pressures. It is suspected that this has led to cases of abnormal degradation of tyres affecting the safety of the riders. A new regulation has been approved which will compel teams and riders to use the tyres according to the parameters agreed by the Technical Director and the organisers in consultation with the official tyre suppliers." so now it is not the fault of Bridgestone?

BSB » Assen - Qualifying times

Awesome Alex Lowes strikes again! So much quicker than most of the field. when BSB is usually so tight Yes bernyec Tommy Bridewell does ride well, He makes a good bike look even faster. Fullofit I could not agree more. so dumb. it is the British sbk championship. What about a round of the Australian sbk championship in New Zealand.

MotoGP » Suzuki 'making good progress' says de Puniet

Suzuki may be moving in the right direction, but Suzuki is going too slow and have the wrong culture and attitude to their own race department. History tells me Suzuki will not get there. look at Barry Sheene... Kenny Lee Roberts and anyone in between or since except Nobuatsu Aoki? How well was Kevin Schwantz treated by Suzuki? I would love to see more factories and teams putting more competitive bikes on the grid so that more fast Australians could ride them. In my opinion it is not going to happen for Suzuki in Gps.
