F1 » F1: Hamilton wins Sports Personality of the Year

richard:
ramjam 69: Makes me laugh when people conveniently forget Kimi only won the 2007 championship because Felipe moved over for him.... Six wins or no six wins.....
correction! kimi won the championship because lulu played silly ****** during the year, messing with alonso and costing ferdi the wdc!
And the extra two points Kimi got given were also enough to keep Fernando from winning it too?????????

Taipan:
Alex4F1: Taipan you'd have also thought fanboys would be delighted about Vettel's struggles this season when he has every right to have an off key season and I think Ricciardo's season is a little over hyped anyway
If they're not happy this year Alex the future looks bleak, I can't imagine another year where everything falls into Lulu's lap quite so easily. 2007 was a very fortunate championship but this was was almost impossible to lose given the circumstances.
You can't even get the the year right Taipants, he won it in 2008 Makes me laugh when people conveniently forget Kimi only won the 2007 championship because Felipe moved over for him.... Six wins or no six wins.....

F1 » Hamilton's second F1 title: A long time coming

richard: junglist. it is not pointless! two drivers driving the same car in the same races, can easily be compared. but if you want the annual stats, didnt button come second in the wdc whilst lulu was only able to come 4th or 5th? that was far more impressive.
So using your logic, Ricciardo is a much, much better driver than Vettel. Didn't Dan just come 3rd whilst Seb was 5th?? You're going to argue that's not the case using exactly the same factors that show the points difference between Lewis and Jenson in 2011

F1 » Hamilton takes second F1 title with Abu Dhabi win

Alex4F1: I'd side with the likes of Taipan Richard and George anyday because at least they are genuine fans of the sport and have been watching since they were young like I have. They are right in saying that Hamilton is talented but has an attitude problem but we can't deny he deserves his achievements either.
I've been watching F1 since 1977 and am a genuine fan, a Hamilton as well as a fan of most drivers on the grid fan. I don't think it's Lewis with the attitude problem.....

Fullofit: I just feel sorry for Jenson. Not only does he finish the season not knowing if he has a drive for 2015, but now he has to watch the teammate he beat in equal equipment lifting the title. It must be tough leaving the sport when you're faster than the current champion.
Still fullofit I see. Faster the one season out of three, totally beaten by Lewis in '10, comprehensively beat Lewis in '11 and outscored by Lewis in '12. So faster than Lewis then?. Really??? My good you've got the hate really bad...

funny you say that. i was just making the point that people judging drivers on their attitude or looks instead of their driving are not genuine fans of the sport.
How true
