Phil, people said after some of his overtaking moves (mainly the one on Kimi at Monza)last season that he wouldn't be doing it again this year. Proved all those nay-sayers wrong didn't he?
What's wrong with being aggressive, didn't do a certain Ayrton Senna or Micheal Schumacher any harm, did it? How does that saying go? If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen, Robert!

Fernando is one of the fastest drivers in F1, and anyone who says different doesn't know jack! But the more you look at the team's good fortune towards the end of last year's champoinship, how much of that was because Renault were allowed to tweak their engine to restore equality in the field? Fernando is a great development driver and Renault have incredible depth in strength of it's R&D, let's see how well they drag the team out of the supposed lack of pace shown in Portugal.

And Sunny, if I was a Ferrari fan, I'd be ashamed at my team for losing us the Driver's World Championshipwith all the ****-ups they made. BUT I'M NOT, AND YOUR TEAM DID :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p

1960-1994, that must be the most racist comment I've seen in 3 years on this site. No wonder you're not registered

But I would be happy for Alonso to win this year, he is a class driver. I beleive the two wins he had (and Kubica's win in Canada) were down to the misfortune of Hamilton/ Massa or Raikonnen. That said, as the old saying goes, 'To finish 1st, first you must finish'.......

Just checked the timing on Youtube Alonso was held for 19 seconds after his tyres had been changed by the team. This was probably as not to release him into traffic. Alonso then stayed where he was for a further 11 seconds. 11 SECONDS! Alonso said afterwards he crossed the line with 3 seconds to spare, and Hamilton failed to make the line by several seconds, so with holding Hamilton up for those 11 seconds DEFINATELY impeded Hamilton. Punishment given to Alonso therefore JUST!

How exactly was Alonso UNJUSTLY punished at Hungary 07? He made NO attempt to keep up with Lewis at the start of that Qualy session (yes, I am aware that Fernando SHOULD have been given track position), so to hold Hamilton up in the pits like he did (and if you think he didn't, sorry, but you must be a blinkered Hamilton Hater) was definately worthy of the punishment he received.

Generally, I like the new look. One thing that does annoy me is the fact there are only 8 comments to a page, it was much better when there was 20!

Rich ard, absolutely agree 100% with your last comment. It's just as ridiculous for McLaren to be running a 2008 rear wing in testing as it might be for Ferrari to be running an exhaust layout they can't race next year. And to describe anything being run as 'illegal' is just baiting. Hang your heads in shame, Crash.net!

Rich ard, what's illegal about the McLaren's wing?? if you look at the way PST's gone this year you'll see why the teams have done it the way they have. 1. Evaluate the 2008 car with slick tyres 2. Add 2009 engine/ transmission 3. Add KERS 4. Add 2009 aerodynamics 5. Unveil 2009 car and the test the hell out of it until it works! OK, some have done it in a different order, but because of the rule changes testing's become a lot more intense (if that's possible) than before.
