Phil, people said after some of his overtaking moves (mainly the one on Kimi at Monza)last season that he wouldn't be doing it again this year. Proved all those nay-sayers wrong didn't he?
What's wrong with being aggressive, didn't do a certain Ayrton Senna or Micheal Schumacher any harm, did it? How does that saying go? If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen, Robert!

BBC responds to MotoGP fans.

And I've seen concern from people regarding F1 and MotoGP being on at the same time. 1. Formula 1 is going to be shown on BBC1, MotoGP on BBC2 2. The MotoGP races are started earlier or later so that they CAN'T clash with the F1 races, and have been for the past couple of seasons. I am worried, however what'll happen when Wimbledon or The Open golf's on.....

BBC responds to MotoGP fans.
The main idea of taking Moto GP away from Eurosport was to give it to a free to air channel and if you have to use the red button to access some of the coverage, this will still be denied to viewers without digital tuners. As for over 7 hours of Moto GP coverage during the weekend - Eurosport provided more than that just for race day! Posted by Paul Stygal But Paul, IF YOU WATCHED EUROSPORT YOU ALREADY HAVE DIGITAL TV, SO YOU CAN GET THE RED BUTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BBC responds to MotoGP fans.
After Sky Sports stopped showing WSBK we had to go from Keith Huewen and Julian Ryder (A great double act I'd watched since the 1990 Grand Prix season) to Jack Burnicle and Niall McKenzie. For a start I disliked it, because it was different to what I was used to. OK, they took some getting used to, but I did and now even miss JB when he does Eurosport's BSB coverage instead of their WSBK coverage.

True, but i think the bbc are now taking over that job of destroying moto gp, i would of prefered to watch it on bbc with toby, jules and randy as commentators Posted by Alan This is exactly the sort of post I despise! MotoGP will still be MotoGP,whoever commentates. I too would have preferred Ryder,Moody and Malmola as the BBC's chioce, but I don't think the BBC is 'destroying' MotoGP just because they didn't. I'm also going to miss the Friday free practice session, but not enough to stop me watching the sport I love most.

People who say they'll stop watching now it's on the BBC or those who said they'll stop when Rossi retires will aren't fans at all.Good riddance to you, you'll not be missed.I watch Motorcycle racing because I'm a fan,not a fanboy. Some people are complaining about not being able to get the red button, but as Belinda says,if you watched it on Eurosport, you can get the red button feed too.

BBC responds to MotoGP fans.
Firstly, let me say I've been watching MotoGP almost entirely on Eurosport since I first got satellite TV in May 1989.I will miss the excellent coverage that they have provided me for nearly 20 years. One thing that gets me annoyed about what people are going on about here are the fact they are going on about either not being able to record the red button service. The way they are going to loop the footage for a week means you won't need to.OK, you'll not be able to fast forward the bits you don't want to see,but so what?I can record the red button channel and know how to program my PVR, it's just like programming your video in the old days!! FIRST PICS: McLaren MP4-24.

That is one good looking car. I really thought these '09 cars were not going to be ugly, but after seeing the Ferrari and McLaren, they're not that bad. And LiloBosh, that's a 2009 rear wing, look at how narrow ans high it is mate!!

My God, you lot are a pessimistic bunch. I can remember when there were only 17 or 18 bikes on the grid in 1991-2 and do you hear people going on about how crap it was then? MotoGP will survive this crisis just like it has every one in the past 50+ years. It always will be the premier racing series as it's a prototype class and will continue to bring innovation to motorcycling just as it always has.

Alonso 'could beat Hamilton easily'.
1 agrees.
1 disagrees.
People may know me as pro-Hamilton and pro-McLaren, but Ron Dennis DID say the comment about racing Alonso. I can't understand why people are disagreeing with comments that only have the above fact in them! Alonso is an awesome driver and can be WDC again, I'm sure. I also have to agree with the notion that Alonso would have beaten Hamilton IF he'd been driving a Ferrari last season. Hamilton made far too many costly mistakes, something Alonso doesn't tend to do (Monaco aside). However, if my sister had been born a man she'd been my brother, so the arguement of 'what if' has no standing, LH IS the 2008 WDC and nothing will change that. I hope he does it again in 2009

No danger of Trulli losing F1 seat, says Toyota.
1 agrees.
It certainly would be a travesty for Trulli to be dropped, especially if it was for Nakajima. I said after the 2007 season that Trulli was one of the drivers that I would forcefully retire if I could, but after the season he had last year, I actually changed my mind. OK, sometimes you still get the 'Trulli Train', but as a whole he showed loads more promise in the T108 than he had in the T107. Let's hope the T109 lets him show his natural ability!!
